Yes.
Seriously though, the aliens that put one in my Jeep said not to worry, it's not a mind control device.
They told me it was for factory remote entry.

Keyless entry hmmm. Anyone know if and where to get a key fob?
Also off topic are anyone's headlights in a timer. When I turn the jeep off and then turn the lights off they stay on for about a minute. I know alot of vehicles do this but never would have thought my 94 country would. Is the country model the best package you can get. It does have power everything and apparently keyless entry

Countrys were top of the line at the time. They have a lot of stuff you would never expect in a Jeep. My 97 has an overhead console, power defrost mirrors, and if it had leather seats would have 4 way electronic reclining heated seats.

FFS... This gets asked so fricking much. How hard is it to type "Jeep Cherokee Dome in Headliner" into google?
Yes, some have headlight delay. Both my 89s did, but my 97 didnt. Just turn the headlights off first if you dont want them to stay on.
