Creates backspacing with out having to change rims also gives more of a wider stance for those who wants the tires to stick out more

Taken from Spidertrax site. . .

"Spidertrax has been providing the off-road market with quality wheel spacers since 1999. With our vehicle specific designs, aluminum anodizing for critical corrosion resistance, and our unmatched competition tested no risk money back guarantee, it's easy to see why Spidertrax Wheel Spacers are the #1 choice among four-wheelers. All Spidertrax Wheel Spacer Kits come complete with 2 6061T6 anodized aluminum wheel spacers, pre-installed wheel studs, lugnuts, and Loctite. Proudly manufactured in the United States of America."

Highlighted a few key things for ya there. Not sure what was going on with your "buddy's" spacers but I know quite a few guys who run them and compete/ beat on their vehicles monthly. Never with a problem one. Now after wheeling or a competition, during cleaning or repairs they will check to make sure things are still tight.

Nice find OP!

Ill post some before and after tomorrow, and as far as saying there not for offroad use it says "for off road use" right on the box, spidertrax in my opinion is the best manufacture of wheelspacers out there. Getting speed wobble from spacers? All they do is add backspacing, so ur saying u get speed wobble from to rims that provide more backspacing too?

i got exactly the same ones on my '97. they do very well i think. the extra weight did cause a minor mpg drop, but it wasn't even 1mpg.
