Default Got myself a free hitch today

I work for a guy who owns his own inflatables company (bounce houses and such), and he told me that he would buy me a class 3 hitch and everything i need for it, so I could tow some units and stuff. Its a win win cuz I get a free hitch, and he doesnt have to buy another truck. Just a couple questions:

1. I will need nut strips right?
2. How do I wire the hitch to the brake lights and all that?
3. Should I get a tranny cooler? I'll be towing no more then like 1600 pounds on the occasional summer weekend.
4. He told me to pick out the hitch I want. I don't want to take him for a ride, so whats a reasonable price? Should I just get one of those auto zone universal, or actually get one made for my jeep?

Thanks for the help

i have a hidden hitch that looks really good, it was in a kit, came with everything, i dont remember the model or anything though :/ hidden hitch is definatly a more attractive approch to adding a hitch, i dont know much else about the subject though

to wire in trailer lights, you would just get a 4-Pin connector from wally world, (Green, yellow, brown, white). the kit should come with in instructions on how to hook it up, it just splices into your tail light wires. and personally i would run a tranny cooler, but i would buy that myself and not put that bill on him

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

I found a hidden hitch on quadratec for 165, and 7 dollars for a no cutting t splitter for the lights. Sound reasonable?

Get a badass rear bumper with a hitch mount. :P

I'd get one made for a cherokee. You can find them in scrapyards.
