Got my new lights installed write up as some one requested
Ok guys so I got these lights http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=400543554996
And some one wanted a write up so here it is. I started by unpacking them
Then went out and took off all the trim off the front of the jeep
And wired the red to red and black to black
And tapped into the standing lights black to black and red
Added the lengths of wires to make it reach the headlamps
made sure they all worked replaced the side market bulbs with LEDs
Aimed the head lamps one of the adjusters broke I spent more time replacing the adjuster than I did with the entire install this is head lamps off and the side marker else's off and parking lights on the green is so bright if I am on a road with out street lights I can drive clearly with them. It's like driving in night vision kinda reminds me of that. With the lights on the street signs all have a green glow to them as they pick up the led light. I will post picks of the final tonight I to ired all the front chrome and reinstalled it I have to remove it from the turn signals and side markers I think it's a lil dark

Those look cool man. What kind of cut off do those headlights give with the standard halogen bulb? That's my only concern. Cause I would like to maybe get some blue ones eventually depending on the output quality of the halogen light

There's not a real cut off the spread light like a regular sealed beam. I have some xenon projectors I got from work out of a Mercedes r350 I was going to retrofit but there a h7 bulb. Ill post a pic of the beams once I adjust them tonight and the light out put of the less on the wall there brighter than sealed beams. Mind you I do not have a harness upgrade or anything this is 100% stock other than the light housings and bulbs

Sorry it's upside down this is the light dispersed on the ground right infront of the jeep
This is the beam patterns low and high
The pic of the green on the road only will have to wait till it's dark dark

Yea that's the only bad thing about those kind of headlights, the light pattern can be kind of uneven. But a retrofit would clear that right up.
Still sweet looking
