I picked up a used set of 33's from my tire guy.
I was a little worried about how much trimming I would need to get them to fit right. I have a 4.5 RC lift with full leafs and I can stuff the tire without major issues.
The rear rubs just before I lost traction. I am super happy about how this turned out. It looks like I will have to do some minor trimming on the front fender flares and wheel well so I have no rubbing at full lock. The other thing that occurred was some death wobble which i didn't have any hints of with 32's. It makes me think that it is my stock tie rod since it is paper thin and the symptoms don't happen after bumps like typical DW. I have plans to pick up a zj upgrade soon.

Sweet ride! I'm installing the same lift and was curious how 33's would work... Considering buying mine used to save some of my build budget for other goodies and 33's are much easier to find than 32's... I figure later on the wife can't really fuss when I "need" to buy new tires so why use up the money she's "allowed" for my build on new ones now

Thanks. Can't wait to try them out. Just need to get rid of these stupid 3.07s.
33x12.5
I do think this could be eliminated with another inch of lift. I am planning on doing the shackle relocation kit and a 1.5" puck up front.

Yea I am still on the fence. I like the look of the stock flares vs no flare and trim. I am going to trim some plastic and see where that gets me.
I talked to a tire guy I know and he had these on his shelf cause someone went to 35's. The km2's are just as good if not better from what I heard.

i just ordered a set of soft 8's 4"bs also with some 33x10.50 km2's. Ill be running a 4.5" rough country lift just wondering how much trimming I might have to do. I like the BFG KM1's . I had a set on my tacoma that worked great. I got 40,000 miles out of them too. Make sure you keep them rotated and you will get alot of miles from them

Get some extra bolts for control arms, shackles. I think I used grade 8 9/16" hardware in place. Get the 6" extended brake lines if you will run without a sway bar at any time. Pick up a stud remover for removing the studs for the transfer case drop. Get a good 1/2" breaker bar and sockets you will def need them too.
