Absolutely love riding around doorless. Visibility is going to be great offroad now too. Had to post, very excited. :P

Remove the back doors and the hatch and you might as well be in a buggy. I took mine off a LONG time ago. Visibilty offroad is awesome.

Buy a whole set. It's only a few bucks more and you'll have them... I take advantage of buying tools as often as possible.

I didn't touch those bolts the entire modification. And I don't suggest it. You'll have a really hard time realigning the doors with the hinge if you remove them.

Dremel 100 series. 39.99 at any K-mart. Handled those (almost) 1/2" hinge knuckles like it was no problem. Used the fiberglass reinforced metal cutting wheels by dremel in 15/16". Took me about three hours from start to finish.

I used a angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. Worked perfect

Dremmel works perfect for this mod cause the cut-off wheels are so small and fit right in between the hinge

Drimmel for me too, on my 96 doors. But with the reinforced cut off disc's. Fits right in there like a champ and gets the job done.

Yep. Fits there perfect and the reinforced cutting wheels are pretty good.

It's really not difficult to remove the hinge...

It would cut your 3 hour job into a 30 minute job.
