Well I am watching one of my favorite movies of all THE GOONIES and seen the XJ and was just wondering what the did with that thing? I wonder if they had a couple of them or just the one just thought I would bring it up since it is a cherokee. Btw (sloth love chunk) lol any other movies u guys have seen xj's in??? Post them up here and a pic if u can.

1984 XJ Wagoneer Limited in the movie "Dead End". I love the look of this XJ, too bad it's wrecked in the end. Possibly one of the scariest movies I've ever seen, I don't really know why though.




1996? Jeep XJ Police Vehicle. As seen in "The Fourth Kind". I thought the movie was weird lol.




I can't tell what year it is since it's an international model, but it's an XJ nevertheless. It was in a chase scene in "Taken".
XJ from the movie "Crash". I kind of feel bad for it.


1996 Jeep XJ from "The Cable Guy" Which is my favorite movie of all time. If you haven't seen it, do so now. You'll laugh trust me, it has jim carrey and matthew broderick.
1986-1992? Jeep XJ Laredo from the movie "Twister". Which is my second favorite movie, seen it over 30 times.



Those are just a few of what I can remember. The goonies XJ scene is probably the best one out there though.

 

I watched this movie twice yesterday and both times I was jealous their hatch struts didn't drop the hatch on the old ladys noggin each time when she threw chunk on the back

 

Haha I watch a movie last night can remeber the name but guy got into a xj looked at the gas gauge (it was on E) and asked the girl what kind of gas milage u get and she said not very good hahaha

 

Just watched that movie a couple of days ago to see the XJ...

 

The sheriff in the show Eureka drives an XJ that usually takes some kind of damage in every episode.

 

Hal drives a green Cherokee Sport and they take it in a skiing trip... on a side note, my xj is black and sometimes when i'm zipping through traffic the goonies theme song starts playing in my head

 

Couple if these threads around here. XJs have to be the most used vehicle in television and movies. Im always calling them out when me and the wife are watching.

No pic but recently watching "into the storn" Xj when they are fleeing the school.

 

Was flipping channels this weekend during the free movie channels preview on DirectTV, and happened upon "50 First Dates" right at the part where the cop was writing her a ticket for expired plates. The first thing that caught my eye (besides Drew Barrymore) was the XJ that the cop was using.

 

Ive just watched The 'Burbs and Tom Hanks & Carrie fisher have a sweet woody Wagoneer... I would drive one if my wife didn't think it looked too much like a station wagon
