Hey guys. Was just able to access this thread again by increasing my posts per page. Thank you fine gents for all of your input and I will take it all into consideration. Unfortunately just had to buy a new alt ant battery so the tune up will have to wait a week or two. :/ Is accel a renown/decent brand? I have seen one of their kits but honestly would like someone's opinion who has had first hand experience or who has heard from someone who got it.

 

Just installed the Accell TST16 kit yesterday. Removing the old plugs and wires was the most difficult part. Cranked right up once I was done, and seemed to have a smooth idle and strong acceleration. But of course, that's just 24 hrs experience, but I don't expect any issues over time. Hope that helps.

 

Yeah the tst16 is the kit I was looking at. And yes it does help. Thank you for your feed back.
