Is this a good buy?

Can't stand em. They use 3 bolts to hold it on. They're ok if you add the brackets to it.
They've gone up in price. They used to offer front and rear bumpers for that price.

I'm running their prototype version that I modified with a winch plate. Don't care what they say I've bashed the **** out of mine and it's held up fine. I did modify the mounts so that I have 5 bolts per side.

Guess I was an exception with 3 weeks on a tie rod end. And it's still sitting in my garage because it didn't fit the garbage I got from another company, not JCRs fault.

the xj stock 3 bolt system for the bumper is strong as hell . the mounts and bumper are not . if you get a nice c-channel you can make a mount bracket and bumper form it for less than 100$ . and be durable as hell . i spent 121 on my bumper and now use it to pull out 2500hd quad cab extended box chevs .
