Default This is going to fun!

I just picked up my '97 Cherokee this past Saturday.

I'm all pumped up to make it my own with my touches and stuff. I just pulled a box of old Jeep magazines and other off-road publications to get an idea of where I'm gonna go with this.

My main focus is DD, then a desert rig that is reliable and fun.
I just sold my 2004 GMC which I owned since driving it off the lot in 2004

I have a thing for Green I guess
Anyway so starts the transformation...welcome to my world hehe

The + side is a very supportive Wife and family

thanks Man,

Yesterday, I adjusted the Liftgate, and took the panel off lubed everything and tightened everything. I need one new rubber bumper on the lift gate, so I'll order those tonight. Crawled underneath for awhile cause I heard a clunking noise, found it, one of the rear shocks upper bushings had popped out. I was going to look into replacing the shocks anyway.

It has a Pro-comp lift on it, research has shown that Pro-comp only makes a 3" lift kit, If anyone knows of a different Pro-comp lift please let me know. I'm c-gonna call pro-comp tomorrow if I get a chance and get the shock specs.

The muffler is showing its age so I have a FLO-PRO V-force that I might put on maybe over the weekend or have one of my muffler people around town do it since I'll have to reduce the pipe down.

Today, I think while I'm working on a couple of other projects that I have I'll Drain the coolant and make sure its all new and the lower Rad hose while I'm at it...we'll see if I can get it all done.

thanks "G"

well coolant done and T-stat changed Didn't do the lower hose It actually looks good I will keep the hose that I bought just in case...

Haven't driven it yet but I bled the system and it seems to be doing good

I just landed a $600 side job, a $100 sale of some stuff and I'm currently working on an ATV and ATV trailer which should land me a couple hundred when done yeha new Bilsteins for the jeep, and a couple of new tires (the tire on the roof is the wrong size, and the right rear is an odd-ball brand from the other three)

thank You Lord!!!
