What kind of diff oil should I be getting for a 1989 w/ NP242 4WD system.
Then for the transfer case as well what kind of oil should I get for that?

Diff fluid takes 75-90
Personally I use Syngear CD50 but it's hard to find in quarts and rather expensive.

T-case uses ATF. it really dose not matter what brand.

Gear oil is to thick for the oil pump to pick up.
