I think you should leave it the way it is because if you think an actual muffler like the 40/50 makes it sound like a ricer than a straight glass Pac will drive u nuts haha, I honestly think it sounds super throaty and aggressive while wheeling ask the guys in the pa thread , just a quick question do you normally drive it that hard to see 3k rpm, I have a 5speed and rarely see that unless I Wot her

No I normally accelerate to 2250 rpm and it downshifts to 2000 then back up to 2250 then downshifts again and I always try and stay at ~1300 rpm in 4th gear right when it engages at 42 mph or so. I have been going to 3k to hear my TBS whistle like a turbo lol.

Here is before the glasspack with straight pipe and FM 40(listen to raspiness as the rpms drop and note this difference between the 2 vids) :

Sounds great to me, the 50 will be deeper, but i6 are very high pitched motors, try a 50 n see how it turns out, keep that glass Pac or just replace with regular pipe

My friend put 40s on his and its quiet, i had a glasspack and I hated it. Now I have a 10 series flowmaster on 2.5 all the way back, I love it and its real agressive

Didnt mean to spin here, My front tires squeal if i turn going 2 mph it's fairly slick for what it is. My buddy spun all 4 in 4 low here.

Here's my buddy's in same parking lot.... He already sold it and realized implications of 4 low on pavement, it was 1999 sport auto np 242. He has 5-speed manual np231 1995 cherokee now. All he had was fm 40 and magnaflow cat.
