I have found an xj with a D44 rear and 4.10 gearing, 3-4" lift, and 4.10 gears.... and I would love to buy it... to take parts.
But heres the dilemma. Im not going over a 31" tire. So will this gearing be too much for my modest plans?
Im itching to buy it because hes offering it pretty cheap. But buying something that is unnecessary no matter the deal is still a waste of money....

4.10 is the general consensus for a 31 inch tire to get it back to stock driveability. How cheap we talkin?

Id grab that **** and not look back. A 44 with 3.54 alone could go for three bills or better around here
