Looking at another cherokee with 3.55 gears and 33's ..test drove it runs great but when it kicks into overdrive its a slug ..is that normal or should I keep looking
I know 3 different people that run 3.55's with 33's. One has done it for 2 years now and hasnt had a problem. Its nice on the highway but in town the MPG's are not so good

With 33's 4.10's are about as high as most people would go, 4.56 is about the best choice. On stock axles anything more than 4.56, and the ring and pinion start to become a weak point in the driveline.
