Default Gauge issues

I reset my ecu a while back by unplugging the ground on the battery for about 30 minutes and before then my speedo and everything else worked as it should, after I reattached the ground all the gauges takes a few minutes to start working and now my tach will work for a second then drop to 0 while the jeep is idling. Any ideas how to fix it or what could be wrong?

I always read that you held the pos to the neg for 30 seconds then flashed the lights 3 times to reset the ecu. But that could be just older models. As for the tach, unplug clean and di-electric grease the connecter coming off the rotor. They are notorious for going bad. If that doesn't work, check your connection on the dash. Otherwise that connector is prob bad.
