I'm saying that our government taxes WAY too much. They don't deserve most of the money we give them and it isn't fair that they just throw the money away like it's nothing. I mean free haircuts for congressmen? A $700,000 vacation for Michelle Obama and her two daughters? Welfare recipients that haven't worked in years? Something isn't right here. I like the idea of public roads but they still charge us with lisence plates and stickers just to use them. Schools are good because you don't have to spend anything to attend. As for hospitals, you still have to pay medical bills, and ambulance fees (depending on if you need one or not). So nothing really comes free even if we do pay taxes, which is

I'm fortunate to have a profitable business for well over 20 years. I lived and survived several recessions, work hard every day, pay taxes thru my a$$. I've been politicaly aware since the early 70's. It's always been I still vote every election, like many americans, always for whomever I percieve to be the least evil. Good luck to you my fellow cherokeesta.

Someone ask why gas cost more in winter? Or did I misread? Anyway, gas is not the only thing that comes from the oil... distillate fuel oil and kerosene also come from crude oil, both of which can be used as fuel to heat homes... winter is cold, therefore more of this fuel is used... which can make gas prices higher in some way... that's what I read somewhere anyway.
$3.09-$3.11 for 87 here in Concord, NC. $50 or so to fill up.
