As for hospitals, you still have to pay medical bills, and ambulance fees (depending on if you need one or not). So nothing really comes free even if we do pay taxes, which is
Well god bless our country, we have the right to speak our mind. It's never been a perfect country and probably never will be, no matter what political party runs it. Still the only country I want to live in, even when regular fuel is $3.29 and premium is $349. It's my choice to drive a cherokee, even when it burns way too much fuel. I'm fortunate to have a profitable business for well over 20 years. I lived and survived several recessions, work hard every day, pay taxes thru my a$$. I've been politicaly aware since the early 70's. It's always been I still vote every election, like many americans, always for whomever I percieve to be the least evil. Good luck to you my fellow cherokeesta.

Amen on that. I'll still love America no matter what. Its a great country to live in and i'd rather live here than anywhere else in the world. Ive been thinking about possibly joining the marines after high school which would be pretty cool... Everyone hates taxes but its just something we have to live with. Thanks for the reply.

Someone ask why gas cost more in winter? Or did I misread? Anyway, gas is not the only thing that comes from the oil... distillate fuel oil and kerosene also come from crude oil, both of which can be used as fuel to heat homes... winter is cold, therefore more of this fuel is used... which can make gas prices higher in some way... that's what I read somewhere anyway.

$3.09-$3.11 for 87 here in Concord, NC. $50 or so to fill up.
