We don't complain solely on the prices, we complain about big oil/gas companies making record profits in the $XX of billions per quarter. And its pretty much proven if we complain enough it will drive prices back down to where they should be, especially during a time of "recession" where it seems no one has money.
We don't need oil companies driving up the price of everything we buy/do so the CEOs and CFOs and guys at the top can hold less then 10% of the population, yet have 90% of the wealth..

$3.09 here. I usually fill up at a half tank, and that goes between 28$-32$ depending on which side of the half marker it gets filled on.
Edit: I should clarify: $3.09 on the Minnesota side of the bridge where I work, and $3.15 on the Wisconsin side of the bridge where I live. Needless to say I don't buy my gas in WI.

I paid $3.19 a gallon today for 91 octane on my Mustang. My fill from empty was $34.20.
I paid $2.76 a gallon for the XJ two weeks ago for 85 octane, but I only put in $15 worth. Here in Colorado we only need 85 octane. lol.
