has it been really cold? Mine only gets about 12 mpg when it's cold here(anything below 0). As the temps increase to 30 or so I start to get my normal 16mpg in town. Did it just start doing this? Changed anything lately? More details would be helpful.

I just replaced my air filter, and was looking like I had gained 4 mpg (the thing was filthy....) but then I went to visit my girlfriend in Buffalo, and since the plow drivers clear the path to the bars and stop, I had to use 4WD and destroyed my mileage results.

I have to use 4WD more in the city than out at my house in the country. What the hell.

Sometimes your guage is not accurate. Wait to fill up before you decide whether you're abnormalily sucking petrol

Join the club. I usually get about 100 miles to a half a tank. Sometimes a little more sometimes a little less. Im sure its because I always have the heater on and I try to fishtail every corner I can when its snow covered.
