Default garage or not

how many keep their XJ in a garage,im renting one for 70 bucks a month but pulling out of it at the end of the month.I know it keeps it nice but after 3-4 yrs I would have the value of the jeep in storage fees.i have been told that 70 a month is pretty cheap compared to some areas,so I guess does it go down 840$ more a year by sitting outside or not,any thoughts?

When I lived in California, I parked in the garage. Here in South Carolina I park it under a big tree, lol.

I park mine in the barn next to my '44 IH farmall ..... but yea dont bother
paying it. if you wash it often, check it over semi-often, and just don't let it get away from you, you can keep it pretty damn nice. Especially with an extra 800$ a year, you can easily afford maintainence to problems that are found before they get bad like repairing surface rust before it rots through.

mines been out in the weather fer its life. got some typical rust, like the driver door. that's bout the only major rust it has. i do try to give it shelter during heavy rains and the dreaded hail. i stay awake till the storm passess then go out and look it over fer major dings or busted glass.
not to be the downer, but is a car port also a option? just wondering.

Park it in your bedroom, make the wife sleep on the couch.

Lol car ports not allowed!? my friend zach lives in a subdivision in Florida. all the houses look almost the same and there's a bunch stupid rules. I couldnt even imagine living like that. I got my own yard and my own woods and i do whatever the hell I want with it. and i don't have any neighbors for a half mile. but like I said, if it's out in the elements, you'll just have to take care of it a little better that's all(washing, undercoating, ect..)
