front recovery point pics

Default front recovery point pics

Ok pretty much like the title says. Im looking for some ideas on front recovery points using the stock bumper. tow hook kits, d rings anything really. Just need some ideas cuz my front bumper purchase has been placed on hold for awhile. thanks in advace

You wont be using the stock front bumper. Its thinner than a cereal box and will get ripped off with the slightest pull. Look for some recovery hooks WITH brackets. Thats your best way to go for something cheap. I use mine all the time and they've held up to alot of abuse

i am sure i will get hammered for this but ....get a reese hitch on the front.

put one on my 90 xj ( need a cam to get pics) & i used a larger class4 & i can move the winch from front to rear this way.

I had C4x4 front tow hooks. Very sturdy. Only got rid of them because I got a Nates 4x4 Slimline Winch bumper currently waiting to be placed on.

Why? I think that's a great idea. Works for you and many others. I'm planning on getting one soon.

Thats definitely nothing to get hammered for. I might be getting a front hitch just for that sake.

Pick up the iron rock front tow hooks. I think its a nice piece if you don't have a winch bumper.

I use a drawtite front receiver hitch. Works good. it has two rings for tow points. and it tucks in there nice behind the air dam.
