OK,what I got is a slight grinding noise in the front passenger side of my girlfriends 96 country. At 1st I thought brakes until we hit a bump in the road and it got a bit more noticeable. Now I'm thinking wheel bearing. What has me wondering is that after a short amount of time it will go away. Any other thoughts that I may be overlooking? Oh,almost forgot. Its stock if that helps

Spray the front sway bar frame mount bushings with someting like BP Blaster or WD-40 and see if the noise goes away, if it does then you need new bushings. I just replaced mine with Moog bushings from www.rockauto.com for less than 11 bucks. You need to know what size the sway bar is in order to get the proper bushings.
