Default Front Drive Shaft

I took off my front drive shaft a while back to try and pinpoint some vibrations coming through the front at anything over 45mph. With it off, the vibrations are nearly gone. The front drive shaft has a bit of play in the middle (along the slide, not the ends/u-joints).

How hard is it to rebuild that part of the drive shaft? Has anyone ever had this issue then knocked it out by rebuilding the driveshaft?

Thanks for any help

I had the same problem until last week. Go to the junkyard in Hammond. They have about 20 cherokees and Grand cherokees. Take measurements, kick the driveshaft to see if it moves in the middle. If not, unbolt and proceed to the cash register. $42.50.
