I feel like I'm following you man lol I would do winch bumper cuz you can always find somewhere to put a spare but once you get stuck without a winch you will be pissed... I was. And you can always buy the rear later after you break in the front!

when it comes to budget and not looks (even that the winch looks awesome)
i'll sacrifice cargo space for recovery options.
you still have the original place for the spare tire.
and a swing out won't get you out of mud
and the winch looks awesome to.
BUT that's just my opinion

You will have the tire with you no matter where you put it but there is no point in having a winch with no place to put it. It's better to be prepared for any situation instead of being caught of guard and getting screwed.

I'd do a front bumper, it's your first line of defense. You can add a winch, lights, antenna , shackles or anything else you want. I have an arb bullbar on mine and love it, it's sturdy but light and recesses the winch.
