Default Front bumper build

So I just finished my first XJ project and it was building a front bumper, it's made of a 3/8 inch steel C channel beam, 3/8 inch steel mounts, and boxed in with 1/4 inch steel diamond plate. This is my first post on my first jeep forum so please take a look at the pics and offer some constructive criticisms.

How much does that weigh. You don't want a heavy bumper.

It's pretty heavy it's a solid buck n a half. I'm gonna make some alterations to it as I replace the fenders, I'm gonna cut it off on each side Of the shackles and angle it back towards the fenders

See all you really need is 1/4 steel center for winch plate and go out with 1/8 or 3/16 or tube. Save alot of weight and give some relief if you hit somthing instead of tweaking the body

Lol awe I don't want to get slapped. And if you like it that's what matters. I was just saying could have made it a hella lot lighter. And that makes a big difference in the trails.

It looks from the pics like he went back pretty far with the plates.

It goes all the way back past the sway bar. I had to cut the head of a 3/4 in bolt and weld a washer to it so I would have clearance past the sway bar
