Default Found very Clean 2001 Grand Laredo

Good morning, I just bought a very clean 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has just 63000 miles on it and has been garage kept. The tires were still 2007 models so it was not heavily used for many years.
The apparent issues that my untrained eyes know of is soft brakes despite good pads, and something in the front end, either shocks or struts.
I have looked at all of the suspension rubbers and they all look good although the rear struts are without a doubt in need of replacement.
I replaced all 4 shocks and tires yesterday and will flush/bleed the brakes today to see it the braking improves but thinking possible master brake cylinder.

From what I can see, all the hoses and belts look good and the engine is very clean.

Any advice on what to look for is especially welcome.

Struts? I think there's an issue of semantics here. An 01 Grand Cherokee won't have struts anywhere - it's got coil springs, shocks and links.

Clean, low-mileage WJ's that haven't been neglected are getting harder to find. I'd check the brake lines, as I didn't know my '02 WJ needed new brake lines until I took it for inspection when I first bought it. My brakes seemed to work fine, the shop just told me I needed them. I later needed another set as well, because the shop that inspected my Jeep only needed to install one set for the Jeep to pass inspection.
