Default Found something from 2008

Pictures from when my power steering pump catastrophically failed... Story went... I was getting through a trail when I had to basically turn around.... well the steering went lock to lock like 15 times due to such tight conditions... well I guess that + some abuse from turning in ruts + since the stock power steering was in place for 10 years without the fluid ever being changed and such I guess the pump let go... enjoy the pics cause it was a huge flippin mess

Ouch...keep a spare belt under the back seat?

wasn't a belt problem.... I do have a spare but couldn't use it.. I can't remember the crazy repair I think it involved duct tape and a 6 rib belt from someone else's rig though... Ended up skipping the power steering pulley. Only worry was if the water pump pulley slipped too much the engine could over heat.
