The wiring harness is probably there with wiring in the cab behind the dash for fog lights. Your particular cherokee want ordered from the factory with fog lights but they are all made with wiring and harnesses.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

My 2000 was the same way...I had no harness in or outside the cab. So I just ordered a factory switch and the factory fog lights and wired them up! also had to cut out the bumper where the lights go...there are mounting holes already there for you to mount the factory light!

It was optional. Depending on the bumper they had, they mounted something. I know the 01 jeeps have them under the bumper by those cut outs in the plastic. Go for LED's. You can put a relay in to have them as power on with something else or just wire them to a switch. Either way, it's easy to do.

Yup I've done lights before. I like to have mine on an axillary switch.

Is right. They will look stupid. Go on EBay and buy the 6054 beams. They have clear and smoked sets with HID of Halogen. just make sure you have them aimed. They are extremely bright when u have the projection lens in. The ones without aren't DOT rated, but give you a better spray on the ground with full lighting. The projection just looks new.

You can prob the fuse panel in the engine compartment and use a relay. But if u like a switch go for it. I like relays because when the connected device goes off, it disconnects the relay. Ie, shut the car off and it goes out with an acc connected power source.

I changed ever bulb I can to LED. You have to go to Autozone for the LED flasher. I have to find out why I need to turn my park lights or take my foot off for the four way flashers to work. I have pics on here. Look for HID fog/drive lights. They look better but are blinding when behind you up close. Everything on EBay!

Oh, use relays on the HID's. They flicker like strobes. I'm an installer. It's not that hard to wire!

For fog lights yes. Headlights, use the stock connector but a separate power source. That way when you use the high beams, the low beams operate like factory. You just need a relay, fuse and wiring diagram. Search for HID wiring diagram.

Fogs just need a separate power source, fuse and switch. In that order!
