Default Fog Light Question

I am new to the Cherokee seen - I have a 97 sport 4x4 stock. I do not really going to get into the wheeling thing - But I do want to do some mods. Like most on here I would like more light, but I do not want to replace the stock headlights. I have seen some pictures of some with 4 fog lights on the bumper. I was wondering if it is street legat to run with them on. (no high beams) I live in missouri, and the stock fog lights suck.

First you really should Upgrade the Headlights first. You don't need to go HID or other high dollar units, just better lenses and bulbs will do wonders. Next are you running Fogs or driving lights, Driving lights would be a good upgrade for fogs. In Most states, as far as I know, it is legal to run 1 extra set of lights, in addition to the Heads.
I run 2 fogs and 2 drivers on the bumper for street use. I use the fogs for rain and foggy conditions and the drivers all others. I also have 4 lights on the roof for OFF-Road, when I'll run all 8 add-on lights.

You can run driving lights legally if they are not over 55 Watts.
