It happens all the time, everyday...its what people have turned into.

Of course its disgusting, but as long as you learn from it, and make sure it never happens to you again, you should be fine.

There's a difference between a random person and someone that runs a business though. I'm not naive, but think a business is supposed to have some values and integrity to it.

I disagree. I have dealt with plenty of business that withhold some virtues and values. Say you were listing something for sale here. I'm not naive to think you would sell it to the first person that responded to your post. It's what's expected and natural today.
