First off, belated Happy 4th!
I have made the decision to fly a flag from my '04 WJ. I was contemplating different manners in which I could do this, but decided, ultimately, to go with a hitch-mounted flag holder. Has anyone done this? What's a good height for the flag? I will probably use durable PVC pipe (1.5") as the pole and somehow secure the flag to that. I found a piece that was 1.5" x 10', but not sure if that's a good height or if it's too high.
I also plan to make a second one to hold a different flag, and just switch them out as needed!

A member here, satiricalhen, makes hitch mounted flag holders and sells them...made me one and it's awesome. He welds his up which is stronger and more durable then pvc...not expensive either
