I only have my front trimmed, rear is still stock-

After-

I haven't had any problems with debris hitting me or anything so far. Although the front gets ALOT muddier then the rear!
Although this is also before/after my lift...

Brett, how did you get the front of the front flares like that? Write up? that is cleannn for edging!

not a write up but I just did this and put my own little twist on it ( brake line inside of the tube to hold the shape)

I bought my XJ with the flares and trim already removed, but the fenders not trimmed, so I ended up just cutting/rolling the front and rear fenders and personally like the look over flares. The tires do cover the Jeep in everything though, even on slightly wet roads, but the paints not perfect so I'm okay with it getting marked up lol.

This is how far my tires stick out without them (less than most 90's Chevy's around here lol):


This is the best picture I have of them trimmed (right after being done):
