Default Fishing Rod rack ideas

Hey guys, I'm planning on mounting some sort of rod holder on my jeep. Was wondering what kind y'all are using and where y'all are mounting it?

I took pieces of aluminum termination bar about 8 inches long and bent them into an 'S" kinda, I hang them on the back side of my rear speaker bar, holds 4 or 5 rods and poles. I'll get some pics for you tomorrow, the jeeps packed to the top waiting for the trip home from college.

Take PVC piping, cut it to about 5 inch lengths. Attack a smaller piece behind it and attack to roll bar. Or front grille, i've seen it done

I've been thinking about that too. Might take a large pvc pipe, cap on end, have a screw on cap on the other and mount it on the roof rack.

I even cheaper than that. I just ran bungee cords arcross the roof on the inside and my poles sit on top of those.

my newest idea (that literally just crossed my mind) is to take some 1.5" pvc and attach it to the front roof bar and then take some velcro loops and attach these to the rear roof bar. cheap and easy.

I used a $3 clamp rack for brooms, found at Walmart. Cut it down, painted black and used trim screws to hold in place.

For the front, I put some hooks on both sides of ohc. Made them from coat hanger and vacuum hose.

Holds rods good and keeps out of way.

Broom clamps costed me $1. Fits my ugly sticks great.
