Heading out on the 27th to go see family in Pittsburgh. Got to change oil and prep the Jeep for its first long trip.

Good luck. I just got back from a 5,000+ mile trip from Chicago to LA and drove back to Chicago.

 

That had to be a fun trip. I've never had a vehicle I enjoyed driving as much as the XJ. Dunno why, small a thing as it is, but it feels like driving a tank. I've got no desire to be in a hurry, just a big desire to run over things.

I'm looking forward to a conference I'm going to in Vegas hosted by Amazon late November. Gonna drive from Houston to Vegas probably straight through (~22 hours), hit the conference, sleep, wake up, and wheel on the way back. Maybe up through Colorado to see what snow looks like. I'll be packing a lot more than some fluids, though.
