XJ number 2,884,172 rolled off the line June 23, 2001 and was sent to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, MI.

Then Fiat bought Chrysler, closed the museum on December 18 of last year and turned it into office space.

All I could find is that the "Chrysler Historical Collection" that was housed at the museum is now being loaned out in smaller groups of cars to other exhibits and museums. I suspect most of them will end up neglected in storage.
