Figured I would post a couple pictures of the work I did on my bump stops. I guess you could say they're a spin off from the JKS plates idea but I'm bettin a little more substantial. The tube is a 2x2x0.188" cut at two 60* angles, or 30* depended on how you're looking at it. I boxed them with some 3/32" sheet and ground the welds smooth. You almost can't tell but I tacked the one end of the piece on the u-bolt plate and bent the tacked part up almost 10*; it was a close guess to what the bump stop was going to hit it and gave me the 2 1/4" height I was after. For the fronts I machined out some high impact PVC for the hockey puck idea. I have extended bumps already, and they did clear the tires, its just when the front droops really far the tilted stuffed tire rubs. I drilled and tapped the spring seat for a 3/8" bolt socket head.

Unfortunately the camera ate it and since I was doing all this up at my work, this part had to go undocumented. Here is how the bumps looked. I'm going to put it up on the fork lift again tomorrow. I've got progressive bumps so they stuff more than that looks.
