Finally Pics!
How long does it take a Jeep fan to get their pics on???????? New to the club, and here is my pics. Little history, bought the jeep for $250 with blown motor. Got new block, heads, rebuild kit (total with install $2800) Everything else, tires, rims, interior (like new), Alpine stereo system (need back speakers) I think I got a great deal.

Thanks guys. The guy was a customer of mine. Son was leaving home for college and ran the motor dry of anti-freeze, partying the night before he left. This Jeep sat for 28 months in the parking lot of his business. He told me to make an offer, it was going to cost $150 to have it towed off, I told him $250, he said, write me a check.

i like it man...thats the color i want..i love that color of green....
a friend of mine did something similar...bought a 98 ZJ with a blown motor for 300 bucks, but instead of rebuilding it, he bought a new used 4.0 that was a strong engine with around 120k miles, and only paid 400 for it...so he only has 700 bucks in this ZJ and it looks great...very clean in and out just like urs

The green worked out completely (since I am an Fighting Irish Fan!!!!). The seats need cleaning, this fall I will need new tires, brakes, rotors, and speakers (got to have some sound man), other than that, I really feel I am one lucky bass-turd to have found this Jeep. Before I look for tires though, I do want at least a 2" lift with bigger tires. I am 6' 1" 260 and this model jeep is not made for my size!!!! But, I have to admit, it rides so smooth. Everything works from the defrost, pwr drs, wins, and locks, to the all-needed cruise control. If it had a sun-roof, all I would need is a self dispensing lotion bottle and some tissue.

I had a place in Memphis (D&B Automotive) do the work. They do not B/S. The motor is balanced and B/P, head is new, all new insides, 30,000/3 year warranty. I could have done it, $1600 for one with core exchange but, I know I have new motor, warranty, and didn't really have all the tools (motor pick, dials, instruments) to fine tune it. There was another place I looked at in Fort Smith, AR, but the shipping was going to be another $350.00. These guys I know and are close and I didn't crush any fingers!!!!

Folks,
Sorry it has been a while. Been doing a huge business transition from Memphis to Nashville. Well, I'm finally all moved business and family to Nashville and ready to get back to what is important, fishing and my jeep!!!! About to start looking for some tires. I have decided to go ahead and do a moderate 2 - 4" lift along with the tires. Any suggestions? I have 215 75/15s on it right now.
Diz
p.s. I guess I should mention this important stuff - I don't want to cut anything nor is this a 4X4. This is mainly cosmetic. I pull a boat and thats it, I can adjust for that.
