Finally got an XJ
Finally got my XJ - traded my 1996 grand cherokee zj and did a light residential hvac duct job, 1 day - $200 in material. The XJ is a 1998 SE white with grey intierior, It's got a Brand New 4" lift - no Blocks, Brand new Mickey Thompson 305/70/16 tires MTZ (33"), and BRAND NEW M/T classic II 16" rims, also a new optima yellow top battery. Other than that it's stock. Its in great cond. 156k miles. Only thing is it IS 2 wd. But hey everything in SE Florida is flat. Just gettin the word out - I'll be on the XJ page now!!! Pics comming soon - we all love pictures...

nice... SUPER CLEAN! I love muddy white trucks I went to school at FAU for a year in boca and hated SE FL..... I think I just hated pulling next to a ferrari with a 16 year old driving it.. I'm originally from cocoa beach and we have plenty of mud. Good luck in your adventures. IMO spend the money to convert to 4wd or you're going to have to spend the money in recovery gear. Mud is relentless for 2wd. Ask my old 2wd dakota.. Oh wait it's still stuck in a mud pit somewhere around Mims... lol
That's an amazing looking yard btw.. I miss st auggie grass..

Yeah, Front drive may come soon? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale - so yep lots of malls almost no mud, 2wd will be fine for now, I just couldn't pass on this deal. There was no trim on the lower body, came just like you see it. As far as the sag in the back, the lift, tires, and rims were installed literally 1 month ago 7-31-09, I've got the paperwork on it. I considered a leveling block but this thing drives sooo straight and smooth I aint touching it. 75 mph on the highway (no hands) on the wheel - smoooth with ease. Since 1992 I've wanted a 2 door, white/grey 4x4 lited. I'm missin the 2 dr and 4x4, but hey I LOVIN IT!!!

Well use this as a base... Wait till you find a good deal on a 2dr 4x4 and when you do switch everything from the white one to the new one.. And I know the parking garage at the mall on las olas is pretty knarly soooo you never know what u might need
BTW it's still a jeep! I've seen some 2wd cherokees go where some 4wd fords and chevys cant... You'd be suprised what 2wd's can do if you set it up right.
