Finally got off my lazy ......
I lost interest in the ol Jeep for a while but have finally regained some enthusiasm to work on it again. Therefore I sank a little cash into some upgrades.
The old inadequate steering setup.

The new crossover steering.

Old bent and twisted lower control arm mounts.

New heavy duty LCA mounts.

The front axle up on the stands.

The rear leafs had started to sag so it was time to slip in an extra leaf to regain some of the lift.
Needless to say the centering pins needed to be replaced and upgraded as well.

I also installed a set of Hendricks clamps to allow for more rear flex.

Who's steering setup bud? Looks good and hopefully handles a bunch better.
I'd never have the intestional fortitude to run Rusty's trackbar..
You reminded me i wanted to order center pins..

Looks like a rugged ridge steering setup. Had one just like it. Worked OK if you turned the tre on the tie rod opposite directions so you don't have a lag in the steering. I've heard of people bending them but I beat the crap out of mine and never hurt it.
The total for the steering setup, track bar, LCA mounts, and the Hendricks clamps was right at $400. The pitman arm is from a ZJ and it gives a 1 inch drop over a stock XJ unit and I got it from the junkyard.

Replaced the steering stabilizer last night since the other one start puking out it's hydraulic fluid. Also gave it a little "thump" test this afternoon.
