Finally
Since I bought my Jeep in July 2012 I've been doing nothing but mechanical work to get it back up to par. Now I just ordered a 3" Series II Rough Country lift. I freaking stoked!!!

Thanks! I'm pretty excited about this lift. 3" is high enough for me since all I do is go to the beach anyway. I don't want to go any higher. As for RC, there are 2 guys in my Jeep club that have RC on there XJ's and another guy with RC on his TJ. The XJ's wheel hard and they have no problems. I've read a lot of good things about RC, so I'm happy with me purchase. Hey, at least I'll be lifted!

Thats funny, i don't care who you are...lmao.
Don't listen to them, hahaha. RC is concidered the bottom of the barrel but i've got some of their $hit too, and have had 1 issue. My TB bj, rubber boot cracked all up after only 200 miles.
I've got their 3" leafs, white body shocks, TB, and shackles. But i barley trail ride.
So for what you pocket has allowed and the type of wheeling you do, your good.
When I go to do it over, I will prolly go with RE.

You will be a happy camper. RC isn't as bad as people like to make it out to be for some reason.

I installed my RC lift a couple weekends ago and I love it. I can't figure out how to post pictures on here though. I have noticed that I have some vibrations. I think I need to do a TC drop kit. I'm thinking of getting the RE2120 kit. It lowers the TC 1". Is that going to be enough to stop the vibes? I can feel the vibes coming from the TC.

A few tips for the install:
You will need to drop the cross member to install the drop kit. There is one stud and one bolt on each side. You will need a stud extractor/easy out/one handed pliers/vise grips/patience/ to get the studs out. You can also try the two nut trick. (didn't do squat for me) I had all of the above and it still was a huge pain in the butt. When you finally do get the stud loose you will find that you can't simply just pull it out. You MUST lower the side of the cross member your working on enough to push the stud up and out of the hole in the cross member. This is because the stud has a raised part on the back of it, as you will see.
*You'll need sockets/wratchet/hammer/jack/jackstands and the above mentioned tools to complete the job.
*do one side at a time. It takes some finesse to get it done without stripping anything.
*don't strip anything. You will be seeing red
Patience is a virtue!
*it's really not THAT hard. I did mine in the dark in an alley here in ocean city In the dead of winter. So that complicated things a tad. Lol
