This is a collection of clips following the life and evolution of my old XJ with me, started out stock in pristine condition and ended up battered, bruised, sunken and very oily...

This was my first car and I miss it quite a lot! I replaced it by another Xj, this time a 4.0 with a manual, but it's still missing that awesome, brave, little-diesel vibe! More videos to come featuring the new Jeep! ;-)

Note, the river run did not kill it rather it struck a hard blow. The engine had runaway following this and it made it mostly unsalvageable...

Yes... Of course, I could have sold more and salvaged much more, but short of time and storage space I just couldn't do it! I wanted to keep more stuff but it was already chaotic to just remove the wheels... They were actually closing and waiting for us to be done with the wheels, just not enough time to keep the grille guard and all the little stuff... I'm very sorry to have let it all go, I actually called them the next day to ask them to postpone the destruction but they had already squashed it by the time I called... :-(
