Default Few questions about a rear axle guys

So today I went and picked up a rear differential but honestly I'm not too sure what's its off of, all I can tell is it came off a Lincoln just because of the wheels that are on it. First I thought it was a ford 8.8 but when I put it to the Dana 44 I have which I am building (in one of the pics) it was a lot wider than it. I also thought it could be a ford 9" but not too sure and i wanted to see what uou guys think. So my question is what axle is this if anyone knows and what's it worth?

Thanks guys

Edit: it's not the 9 inch. I think it might be a 8.8

Yeah I asked my cousin also and he said it might be a 8.8 and the length just depends on the application it was off of, hmm

looks like a full width 8.8 to me. I no there's a few variations on them. if you have the right one, that could be an awesome upgrade for your xj.

Thanks guys but it's not worth swapping out to what I'm building now, I'm building a Dana 44 which I think is better but I'll end up getting rid of this for cheap

8.8's are a stronger axle. but the 44 is still more than enough for what you'll need and takes less modification. but definetly if your sellign it let some other cf members no about it or post in the for sale section someone might want ona those...

Yeah right now I want my jeep to be a basic rock crawler with a Dana 44 locked rear and Dana 30 locked with 30 spline locker and 30 spline chromolly shafts. Later on Dana 60 and 44 will come but I'll post it right now
