Fender trimming
Okay guys, I'm gettin ready to trim my fenders. There are tutorials online, but what got me off guard was the pinch welds on the rear fenders. They all say no to cut those, because the fender will flap around. How do you do the rears? I don't want the holes there, as they are inline with the pinch welds. And if you've trimmed your fenders, how high did you cut the back? I'm not gonna put the bumper guards back on, so I wanted to cut the fender flush with the rear bumper.

I cut slits up to the body line (dont cut thru the spot welds, cut to the sides of them) and folded them back into the fender. I also did the same thing up front. This is the 2nd Jeep I have done this on of my own, and I have never had any problems with the fenders flapping around or anything.
be prepared it will get real muddy (if you play in mud) real easy and quick
