Default Fender Flares

Im not new to cars by any means, but I am fairly new to the XJ world.. I've noticed a lot of people use the bushwacker fender flares, or just take off their stock fenders flares and cut the excess fender for clearance, or do that and add the TJ fender flares because they look the most like stock, but add more clearance.. In my opinion, the TJ fender flares dont look right, because they dont follow all the contours of the fenders, and quarters of the XJ... Here's my idea, and i'd like your input. What about manufacturing fender flares that you can install after cutting, that look stock, but are bigger to accomidate the cutting, and allow for more clearance.. I think this would look nice, and be effective in clearance.. what do you think? If there is already something out there like this.. nevermind.

Well I understand relocating it, but what i mean is actually making the flare wider, and taller itself. I guess it really wouldn't make too much of a difference.

Theres a company called icelandoffroad that makes fenders that are very similar to what your talking about. Only down side is their a little pricey and the business itself needs to work out some kinks...

after market fender flares are so expensive, albeit they do look nice, but they are way to expensive for my liking and if you crack/break them, your SOL. i never ran flares but recently got pulled over for tires sticking out too far, so instead of paying 400+ on cherokee flares, i spent 20 bucks for a set of rear tj flares. i dont think they look too bad ill get some pics up sooner or later.

Rusty's makes some that are flexable so the fit no matter the amount cut.
