I'am running stock wheels with 31 10.50 15 on a 4.5in lift. I want my tires out wider. Whats everyones personal opinion on spacers. Also, what size do you suggest? 1.25in, 1.50in, 2in? I will also be jumping tire size too. Either 32 11.50 15 or 33 12.50 15.

couple things.

1) spacers are fine IMO. i run them and they work fine. however, if you are doing spacers all around, black steel wheels cost about the same, and you can get them in almost whatever backspacing you want. the "proper" way to do it.

2) be aware you will be trimming your fenders with this jump in tire size. you can still retain the stock fender flairs, just relocate them when you finish trimming.

I would not do spacers at all... Just seems sketchy to me especially if you doing any wheeling.

Like someone above said, just go on summitracing.com and get yourself some Cragar soft 8s or D windows, or V-5s for about $50 a wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing and call it a day. Much safer and will look way better

I just installed my spacers the other day. 1.5" rears and 1.25" fronts. Just install them properly and use red loctite.

If you are going to need front and back it will be about $175-$200 for the spacers. Might as well just get less backspaced steelies if you plan on doing wheels anyway. It wills be close to the same price. Either way is fine though, but don't expect not having to trim.

i had them before. i had to replce the bearings after about 20k. now maybe they were goin bad...i dont know.but i wouldnt buy them again. but thats me.

with stealies bein so cheap. go on CL and get a used set. for the price of one set of spacers.

also with 4.5" of lift and 32's or 33's...you def want 3.75" - 4" of back space.
and yes..trimming will be needed.

im getting ready to install a 4.5 lift. i am allready trimmed, i just bought 33x12.50's and 15x10 3.74bs rims and tires.

I've got them and no signs of rust. The paint is pretty weatherproof; for a long time, at least.
