Default Feeler for possible part out

I have a complete 98 Cherokee that has a misfire that I havent been able to figure out for some time now and have contemplated in the past to parting it out as a part of my 97+ conversion on my MJ. A good friend of mine has asked about buying the transmission off the XJ, his is giving him fits, so the debate has continued. I would be taking the fenders, header panel, and possibly the doors.
With those pieces as well as the transmission gone, is there any chance I can get about 2k from selling off the parts/scraping whats left? I had originally bought if it for the conversion but second guessed myself since its actually in pretty decent shape. Just looking for opinions and/or offers to buy things if thats the route I go.

The rear hatch was struck by a tree they just jump out at you sometimes. Its been replaced but from a different model, the white trim model so that piece just above the plate is white instead of black (only noticeable difference)

That's a nice XJ. Why not take it to a shop and see what's causing the miss? it might be something so simple, i.e. plug, coil pack, CPS... CEL? What's the code?

If you decide to part out i got dibs on cruise control clock spring, AC components (if your AC works) lol

Dang! I'd really like the driver side front fender and the passenger side rear door!

The code is P0301 cylinder 1 misfire. I replaced the plug wires, Ive checked the plugs in the past but will check again and might go ahead and replace.
