So I'm about to pull the trigger on some MT Baja belted 31/15.50/15 to use as sand tires. I've been unsuccessfully looking online to find an answer to if its illegal to have 5+ inches of tires sticking out the side of your rig on the road in Michigan. Wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

"It is unknown if fenders or mud flaps are required in Michigan"
That usually means that in Michigan it's not a big deal. I'm sure there's some code that says something but I doubt it'll be a big deal.
If it is, worry about it then.
