So I was to high on nox co and the other one.. And I need a new gas cap is there one single thing that will cause me to be high on all levels of the test??? Btw check engine light is on

 

i think a check light is an automatic fail.

 

O well they still drove it thru and tested and it was over on everything... Idk why

 

Yeah check engine light should have gotten you told to bring it back with the light off.Have the ecu scanned to see why the light is one then fix the problem.When's the last time it had a full tune up?Or has the cat on it ever been replaced they do wear out.

 

Each State has different Emissions inspection and laws. In Northern Virginia most '96 and newer only get the plug and play test. pre '96 get tail piped.

Find out what codes are stored in your comp. Cycle the key from off to on 3 times and leave it on . then count flashes. do it twice to be sure you got all the numbers. the last two number of fleshes will be 5 5.

These codes can give you an idea with what may be wrong.
