Default Factory spare tire cover

Just wondering if anyone has put the factory spare cover in the washing machine. I have one to use but it needs a cleaning. It’s not super dirty but I figured it would be easiest to just machine wash it if I could. Lol

Thinking it should be OK. The white fabric on the inside might deteriorate a little maybe. I would put it through the spin cycle twice and hang it to dry though. The fabric on the inside my shrink if you put it in the dryer making it pucker and I could see you having trouble to get it on a tire if that did happen.

I’ll probably give it a go this weekend. It looks like it’s for a full size spare. I need to see if it fits over a 235 first. It was in the back of one of my Jeeps when I got it. It wasn’t on a tire or anything. And I don’t believe there is a different inner material. I’ll let you all know how it works out.

The couple that I have lying around and my 5.9 one have white cloth on the inside. But these are interior spare tire covers.
