How would you pay for an authorized paper book set of the factory service manual for your jeep?
I'm thinking of picking a set up just to have them.

I got the PDF version of mine from Pacific Coast Manuals for $15. I suppose if I ever wanted a hard copy I could take it to work and print it out, but it's nearly 1900 pages!! Maybe if I could find a 3 ring binder that was about 10" thick and an industrial grade 3-hole punch...
Hell, at the very least it would come in handy for chocking the wheels on my trailer or making a good base for the jack. Stopping bullets. A winch anchor...

I've got a good collection of hardcopy FSMs, running from 1963 forward, and I think the most I've paid for any one of them was about $40.

You can also stop by your local Jeep dealers and ask to talk to the mechanics. Apparently sometimes they sell them because when I called to price one, the parts manager asked the mechanics there if they had one to sell but they had already been sold.
